Personal Interests

Writing 

I have always been passionate about the written word and I spend a lot of my spare time reading and writing. I have had poetry published and I am a member of a small writers group which meets frequently to discuss the craft.

Photography

I am an avid amateur photographer, specialising in architectural photography and portraiture. I love nothing better than exploring somewhere new and seeing it through the eyes of a camera lens. I am an official photographer for the Anime Island Convention and some of my work can be seen on Deviant Art here

Music 

I have a great passion for music, both as a creator and as a consumer. I write lyrics, music, sing, play piano (rather badly) and guitar (better). I have recently been recording versions of my favourite original pieces, some of which have been fifteen years in the making. It is quite a journey of self-discovery and you can listen to my progress on Soundcloud here
